All rowers are invited to the first ever campout at the boathouse event! It will be a great opportunity for the rowers to relax and have fun after all the hard work they have been doing this season.
Leading up to the event, there will be no practice this Wednesday (10/18) or Thursday (10/19).
Rowers can arrive starting at 8PM on Thursday night and plan to head home no later than 9AM Friday morning (10/20). There will be snacks on Thursday evening (make sure your rower has eaten dinner) and a continental breakfast on Friday morning. Please review the food and chaperone signup below.
There will be a bonfire and rowers will be sleeping in the upstairs of the boathouse. Boys and girls will sleep on separate rooms upstairs and there will be chaperones at the events as well as the coaches. There is no heat at the boathouse so please make sure your rower has a sleeping bag and dresses for the weather. If you have a space heater that the team could use for the night, I am sure it would be appreciated. Any extra dry firewood would be appreciated as well.
