The Northview Rowing Team took part in the Michigan High School Rowing Championship (SRAM) held at Kensington Metro Park’S Kathryn Bennett race course on May 17th. The racing was cut short by high winds and rough waters, resulting in a one-and-done format, with the semifinals replacing the normal final. The Northview team raced hard, and came away with some hardware for two of our boats.
Here are the notable achievements:
- Third Place in Men’s Varsity 1X: Griffin Damuth (in his 2nd single race ever!)
- Third Place in Women’s Varsity SX: Rylee Templar & Isabelle Neely
